Centenary: Golden Goggles Award

Wandsworth Borough News, 26/07/2006 Tooting Bec Lido won the London Pools Campaign's 'Golden Goggles' award for being the best open-air pool in London 2006. They called it "an absolutely stunning place - a model for lidos anywhere." Due to the small number of outdoor pools in London, the prize was later also awarded to indoor pools. The paper carried a full-page feature to mark the centenary of the pool.
