Newsletters 1996-1997

January 1996-December 1997 The South London Swimming Club newsletter was introduced by Betty Freddi, Club Secretary, in June 1993. She edited it for the next 18 years until failing eyesight caused her to hand over to a new editor. The newsletter was sold pool-side for a nominal amount to cover costs. The bound volume was compiled by SLSC member Margy Sullivan. The photograph on the front is of the Channel relay team who came together to raise funds in support of Mike Taylor (centre) who was suffering from multiple sclerosis.
