Newsletters 2000-2001

The South London Swimming Club newsletter was introduced by Betty Freddi, Club Secretary, in June 1993. She edited it for the next 18 years until failing eyesight caused her to hand over to a new editor. The newsletter was sold pool-side for a nominal amount to cover costs. This bound volume was compiled by SLSC member Margy Sullivan who appears in the centre of the photograph (beige coat) which was taken after the Ladies' Christmas Day Race 2000. The contents of this volume can be viewed at Wandsworth Heritage Service, Battersea Library.
