Newsletters 2009-2010

The South London Swimming Club newsletter was introduced by Betty Freddi, Club Secretary, in June 1993. She edited it for the next 18 years until failing eyesight caused her to hand over to a new editor. The newsletter was sold pool-side for a nominal amount to cover costs. This bound volume was compiled by SLSC member Margy Sullivan. The photograph on the front is of the end-of-season challenge to swim a length for every year that the lido has been open - in 2009, 103 lengths. The contents of this volume can be viewed at Wandsworth Heritage Service, Battersea Library.
