River Swim 1933

South London Press, 05/09/1933 Twenty members of the South London Swimming Club took part in the 1933 River Swim at Walton-on-Thames. The mile-long race was won by L. Holloway Jnr, who overtook his coach, R. E. Lowe, to win in 22 minutes and 53 seconds. The newly formed Ladies' Section held a half-mile race which was won by Miss Potter in 16 minutes.
