Centenary Doggy Paddle

Wandsworth Guardian, 22/03/2006 Article previewing a mass doggy-paddle by 101 members of the South London Swimming Club across one width of the lido to mark its centenary. The entry fee of £2 per swimmer was donated to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. The event was also an attempt to secure a place in the Guinness Book of World Records - unsuccessfully, as it turned out!
