Death of 9-year old John Michael Corbett

Tooting & Balham Gazette, 28/06/1957 Inquest into the death of 9-year old John Michael Corbett from Streatham who was found lying on the bottom of the pool on Thursday 20 June 1957. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later died. The tragedy happened on a hot summer's day when the pool was crowded with people. The coroner returned a verdict of accidental death.
