Famous Schoolboy Diver

Balham & Tooting Mercury, 21/11/1930 South London Swimming Club member and Tooting boy Louis Marchant wins Amateur Diving Association's Junior Open Plain Diving Championship. He's described in the article (probably written by the SLSC press officer Charles Roskilly) as 'the finest young diver in England' and 'in the running for Olympic honours'.
