Frank Sims

A professional photograph of South London Swimming Club member Frank Sims taken at the lido in 1999. Sims (1920-2006) was a long-standing SLSC member and was honorary handicapper from 1996-2003. In the 1990s he was one of four trustees responsible for running the lido off-season on behalf of the council. He was a Labour councillor from 1956-1978 and Leader of Wandsworth Council from May-December 1972.
