The Old Entrance

This picture of the old entrance echoes the c.1907 one of the original entrance. The red-brick building in the background is the pump-house which was added in 1931 to improve the water quality. The oak-tree stood outside the entrance until the early 2000s when it became diseased and was heavily pruned; it was finally felled in c.2015 to make way for the new pavilion.
