The Tooting Physical Culture Club was set up in the early 1950s under the umbrella of the South London Swimming Club and continues today. Members meet late morning to swim, run, lift weights, box, skip and generally keep fit. A chart is kept to record who was has swum at least once a week during the winter. This card belonged to Lester Cowley who was the 196th member to join. There is no longer an annual subscription.
